The Old Northside Bed & Breakfast located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Built in 1885 by Herman C. DeWenter, a German immigrant who became a prominent Indiana Industrialist, this unique brick residence is considered the prime example of Romanesque Revival architecture in the city. The mansion has been renovated in an elegant European turn-of-the-century motif to retain its warm ambiance with the original maple slat flooring and incomparable hand-carved cherry and mahogany woodwork.
