Ghost Stories & Spirit Hunts Each event includes true ghost stories, verified with first hand witnesses, videos and documentation, a brief oral history of the property & its ‘previous’ dwellers. Read more Small groups may journey into the basement and other select areas, armed with only flashlights and ghost detecting equipment. Groups have the unique opportunity of actual ghost hunting. Groups are allowed to video record and take photos as they wish. The Inn Keepers will not accompany the groups on the ghost hunts, as the spirits are more active when they are not present. Bed & BOO Experiences Currently, two wonderfully haunted spaces are available for B&B reservations. The Crying Room The front bedroom on the second floor is known to residents (past and present) as the crying room. Throughout the decades, room occupants have awaken to the sound of babies crying outside the room, sounding like a mother is carrying the crying children back and forth in the front yard of the house. The room has a comfortable queen bed and many of the original items of previous owners, as they moved so quickly, not everything was packed. Overnight Guests will receive ghost detecting equipment to enjoy. Pool is open in summer months, which is home to a coven of bats at dusk. The Basement Rooms The basement of The Danner House is a ‘hot’ spot for interactive supernatural activity. In the past couple of years, a voice has yelled at two individuals, although usually the encounter is more in the line of cold spots, sounds and moving shadows. The basement has three rooms, a hidden room and a dirt tunnel. For the B&B experience, the three basement rooms and hidden room are available for ‘sleep’ overs. Ghost detecting equipment & instructions provided. Outdoor Cots by The Old Oak Tree If you would like to sleep under the stars in your own sleeping bag, we can provide the cot and space for your frightful slumber. Overnight guests are invited to swim all night long in the unlit pool & relax by the fire pit and watch the coven of bats descend from the surrounding trees and swoop along the pool at dusk.
